Level 2 NVQ in Plant Operations
The Programme has 3 Pathways of which 1 Pathway will be chosen. The chosen pathway will include 3 Mandatory Modules as follows:
Pathway 1 – Fork-lift Trucks:
Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace
Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace
Preparing and operating telescopic handlers to lift and transfer loads in the workplace (Telescopic handler all sizes excluding 360 degree)
Pathway 2 – Transporting Loads:
Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace
Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace
Preparing and operating forward tipping dumpers to receive, transport and discharge materials in the workplace (Forward tipping dumper wheeled)
Pathway 3 – Compacting:
Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace
Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace
Preparing and operating ride-on rollers to compact materials in the workplace
This funding is for Employers, Employees and the Self-Employed. All courses below are fully funded for the Self-Employed. SME Employers pay a 10% contribution and Larger Employers Pay 30% for each Employee undertaking a skills bootcamp in the Tees Valley area.
Level 2 NVQ in Construction and Civil Engineering
The Programme 4 Mandatory Modules as follows:
Installing, maintaining and removing work area protection and safety equipment in the workplace.
Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace
Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace
Placing and finishing concrete in the workplace
or
Installing drainage in the workplace
This funding is for Employers, Employees and the Self-Employed. All courses below are fully funded for the Self-Employed. SME Employers pay a 10% contribution and Larger Employers Pay 30% for each Employee undertaking a skills bootcamp in the Tees Valley area.
